Grupo HCR (Habitat Contemporary Research) is a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering studio founded in 2010 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. We develop architecture, construction and interior design projects across residential, commercial, F&B, hospitality, corporate and industrial typologies, in the Dominican Republic and the United States.

We take on each commission as a whole: from preliminary design to budgeting, from detailed engineering to site management. That continuity between those who draw and those who build defines the character of our work — buildings conceived for the Caribbean climate, resolved with technical precision and without unnecessary gestures.

Our team brings together architects, civil and hydraulic engineers, surveyors and interior design specialists who collaborate through every phase of the project.
